Course Aim |
The Bodylogic Personal Training Certificate is aimed
at suitably qualified individuals who are considering working as
a self employed Personal Trainer either within a health club(s)
or from other venues/premises.
There is a vast difference between working as a Personal Trainer
as an employee and working as a self employed Personal Trainer.
The challenges are greater as are the financial rewards and job
satisfaction. Quite simply a far wider skill set is required. This
course will show you everything you need in order to make that transition.
Our Award is based on 20 years of proven Personal Training and successful
business experience in the fitness industry. We want to share this
knowledge and experience with you so that you can achieve the income
you deserve following your former training and qualifications. Many
of our students now operate on a self employed basis in major health
clubs such as David Lloyd, Fitness First and many have set up their
own successful business.
|
Entry Requirements |
Unlike a lot of providers we firmly
believe that the world of Personal Training is not suited to everyone.
We therefore insist that all people enrolling onto our course, as
a minimum: Be 21 or over, hold a recognised Gym Instructor qualification
(OCR/CYQ), have at least 3 months experience of working as a gym
instructor.
You should also have good interpersonal, organisational skills
literacy and numeracy skills.
These are the minimum requirements, it would be desirable if you
held an advanced instructor qualification and or other sports/fitness
coaching qualifications.

Bodylogic Certificate in Personal Training |
Frequently asked question...'which course should
I do the OCR Personal Trainer Award or the Bodylogic Personal Trainer
Award? |
These courses are very different. Basically if your
intention is to become part or full time self employed as a Personal
Trainer then the OCR course will NOT teach you how to go about this.
You should do the Bodylogic course. Of course you can do the OCR
PT then the Bodylogic PT which is what we recommend.
Here is what Paul McGill, a Personal Trainer at Chorley Leisure
centre said about the Bodylogic PT course:
"The personal training course with Bodylogic is very very
informative, no waffle, gives you the nuts and bolts knowledge and
skills to be the best personal trainer you can be. The course director,
Paul Hughes is very knowledgeable with bags of experience, listen
to him and you will not go far wrong. It has completely changed
my view on how personal training works. Based on a reliable format
and years of in the field experience, it opens up a whole new way
of thinking about personal training. I would recommend the Bodylogic
Personal Training course to anyone who wants to be better than a
run of the mill personal trainer." |
