Studio Cycling Instructor Module
This is a one day module open to those who have (or are enrolled on) a recognised Level 2 in Gym or Exercise to Music. The module will teach you how to deliver a group indoor cycling class. Participants should have experience attending similar classes.

Assessment : On-going throughout the day.

Certification: A Bodylogic Training Certificate in Studio Cycling will be awarded to all successful participants.

Places are very limited - early booking advised. payment can be made over the phone using a credit/debit card.

This is a theoretical and practical based module and you will learn:
- Screening for participation
- Safety considerations
- Injury prevention
- Warm ups and cool downs
- Cycle adjustments for individuals
- Biomechanics of cycling
- Use of terrains (hills, descents, flats)
- Changing intensity via terrain content
- Cycle speed
- Flywheel resistance
- Use of music speed
- Motivation techniques
- Teaching skills

Course Fee & Course Dates

The Studio Cycling course fee is £99 including FREE 40 minute instructor DVD (a clip of which can been above). Credit card payments will incur a 2% surcharge.

Course dates for the studio cycling instructor module are as follows: Wednesday 28/7/2010 and Wednesday 27/10/2010. Start time 11.00am, finish time around 4.00pm.
